The wet wire drawing machines of the TI series are slipping drawing machines designed for redrawing of zinc steel wire or, in-line with proper coppering tanks, coppered steel wire.
Tecno Impianti Srl offers two versions, with two or four drawing cones, with drawing speeds up to either 15 or 20 m/s.
Both versions are equipped with a cooled-type, dry drawing die-box installed at the entrance of the submerged lubrication tank, pulling rings and pulleys manufactured in hardened steel with tungsten carbide coating, rotating die at the exit of the tank and capstan with black ceramic coating, for guaranteeing a high wear resistance.
The starting wire is uncoiled either from a spool or a wire carrier, according to Customers’ needs. Drawn wire is collected on spoolers, designed to accommodate different spool sizes.
A pneumatic cylinder, with safety blocking device, executes the tilting carriage movement.
An electronic system, with thermocouples and stainless-steel heat exchanging cooling coil, controls and regulates in automatic mode the drawing bath temperature. The process control and the eventual communication with the company network are obtained through PLC, via Ethernet, with the possibility of remote visualization and setting of the production parameters and the state of the equipment.
