The SV series uncoilers are utilized to uncoil steel wires for subsequent feeding tostraight-line wire drawing machines. They are equipped with two coil-holder arms that are tilted to allow the coils to be loaded horizontally. The wire is then uncoiledupwards, with the coils static, and this allows welding between the end of one coil and the beginning of the next.
A jamming warning device is fitted to these uncoilers, and they can also be equipped with a wire accumulation system. These two devices prevent wire breakages and the need to re-thread the drawing machine.
The SVR series uncoilers are utilized to unwind metal wire for subsequent feeding of monobloc wire drawing lines for production of cold-heading wire. They are equipped with a coil-holder arm that can be tilted to allow the coils to be loaded horizontally. These unwinders are equipped with a jamming warning system that allows the machine to be stopped safely.
