The Tecno Impianti Mod. ST butt-welders are utilized to weld the ends of low-medium carbon wire, to avoid re-threading the wire into the drawing die.
In the smaller models, the wire is blocked by special clamps controlled by pedals and the clamp thrust system is operated manually by means of a lever.
In the larger models, the wire is blocked by means of a pneumatic piston and the clamp thrust is also provided by a pneumatic piston.
Our biggest model is equipped with hydraulic cylinders and a chiller.
The machines are equipped with a PLC to control the welding parameters and the annealing cycle.
