Tecno Impianti has designed and manufactured a new wet wire drawing machine.
It is an evolution of the model TI-310, which was one of the most successful products in the history of Tecno Impianti Srl.
This machine can be used for drawing of low carbon wire, galvanized wire, welding wire.
Here are some key features of the new machine:
- Transmission of torque obtained by means of pulleys and low-noise toothed belts with special profile of the teeth to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions, maintenance costs and total cost of transmission. V-type belt transmissions have been transformed in synchronous belt transmissions with a constant efficiency value of 99%.
- Structure of the machine containing a collection tank for emulsion lubricant, with an inspection window on the wire input side for the maintenance and the internal cleaning.
- Rotation of the gear casing and relative automatic wire drawing cones to facilitate the wire threading.
- Water inlet pneumatic valve for bath cooling through stainless steel coil; probes for bath temperature control.
- Sealing system for shafts with triple protection of sealing rings made of Viton, which work on a ceramic coated surface, against the infiltration of the emulsion residues in the bearings and in the gear housing.
- Initial dry die installed on an adjustable support at the entrance of the machine.
- Die-holders designed to ensure the correct self-alignment of the wire on cones at high speeds; covert to prevent any displacement of the die with wire under tension.
- Rotating die-holder on last step with anti-vibration system on wire output side.
- Gear pulleys with coating in tungsten carbide.
- Rings made of tungsten carbide.
- Final wire pulling capstan with cooling and ceramic coating.
- Electrical equipment contained in a closet separate from the drawing machine structure. IP54 with internal cooling through heat exchanger or air conditioning.
- Safety guards according to regulations of each country in the world; all functioning sequences of the line are controlled by a PLC. The setting and the functioning of the machine are executed by the main control panel.
